As a Lecturer in Educational Administration, I have published and co-authored a number of research studies and publications. My general area of academic specialization is in Educational Leadership and Innovation, School Improvement, and Teacher Education. I have a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Change, Leadership and School Improvement and a Masters in Education Leadership and Innovation (Distinction) attained from The University of Warwick. In addition, I’ve received a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in the teaching of Social Studies (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Science in Government and Public Administration from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.
I serve as a member of the School’s Graduate Studies Pillar Liaising with schools, giving career advice. I liaise with secondary schools to provide professional development for school leaders, middle managers and teachers through workshops, symposia, seminars and conferences as part of the School of Education’s Outreach and as my personal outreach. I also provide professional development and career advice through my teaching as a lecturer in educational leadership, my service as a member of the Holy Faith Convents’ School Board and the Catholic Board of Education and Management in Trinidad and Tobago. I serve as a non-professorial member of the Academic Board.
